IGOR and Max CAVALERA To Perform SEPULTURA’s Entire ‘Chaos A.D.’ Album on 2025 U.S. Tour

Igor and Max Cavalera will tour the United States in fall 2025 to perform Sepultura’s 1993 album Chaos A.D. in full. The tour will feature the brothers playing the album across multiple U.S. cities, more than 30 years after its original release.

Chaos A.D. was released in September 1993 through Roadrunner Records. It marked a shift in Sepultura’s sound from thrash metal to a more groove-oriented style, incorporating elements of hardcore, industrial, and tribal rhythms. The album features tracks such as “Refuse/Resist,” “Territory,” and “Slave New World,” and is regarded as one of the most influential metal albums of the 1990s. It reached No. 32 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA.

Fear Factory will serve as the main support act for the 2025 tour, with Spirit in the Room and The World Over also confirmed as opening acts. The tour is set to start in October 2025. Detailed information on cities and venues is expected to be released soon.

Max and Igor Cavalera have been revisiting Sepultura’s early material in recent years. In 2023, they re-recorded Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions, both originally released in the 1980s. They have also toured performing Roots, Arise, and Beneath the Remains in their entirety. The upcoming Chaos A.D. tour continues their retrospective performances of Sepultura’s discography.

Fear Factory, formed in 1989, is known for its industrial metal sound and has released ten studio albums. The band’s most recent album, Aggression Continuum, was released in 2021. They previously toured with Sepultura during the 1990s and were part of several joint tour lineups in the past.

Chaos A.D. was the first Sepultura album to feature themes of political resistance, police brutality, and social unrest. It was produced by Andy Wallace and recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales. The album included guest appearances by Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys and Jason Newsted of Metallica.
