Hello Everyone! My new album is out

I am Kaan Çelen, a disabled jazz drummer from Türkiye.

Kaan Çelen meets music lovers with his new album “30” celebrating his 30th birthday.

This album draws attention as a special work that Çelen presents to himself and his age. “30” stands out as an album that takes the listener on a deep inner journey, questioning the meaning of existence and teaching acceptance.

The tracks on the album are composed of memories and inspirations that have left important traces in Çelen's musical journey. “Where Are You”, “Who Am I”, "Repeat After Me: Monk!“ and ”Bahar",
takes the listener to different emotional and intellectual dimensions.

One of the most remarkable parts of the album is Kaan Çelen's drum solos, which tell the story of his deep connection with the drums and his conversations with this instrument. Çelen invites both himself and the listener to rediscover
in this album.

Where Are You: This track depicts the maturation process of a person who finds himself while searching for what he lost, and deals with the themes of confronting the past and acceptance.

Who Am I: Written by Keith Jarrett after his stroke and dedicated to the Europen Quartet, this piece is dedicated to those who constantly re-invent themselves and hunger for art.

Repeat After Me: Monk!: Dedicated to the relationship between Thelonious Monk and Ben Riley, this piece reflects Çelen's soul influenced by the 60s and Be bop era.

Spring: If even the seasons need a cycle to start life anew, why not humans? This track, filled with the scent of the first rain, the longing of the earth and the freshness that spring brings, celebrates the beauty of
beginnings.
