Separating channels on the EAD 10

I can't seem to find the specific answer that i am looking for. I have already split channels 1/2 AND 3/4 with the correct splitters. I have a 6 piece kit (4 toms). I am trying to split the snare channel, then assign a trigger to always producing a tom sound WITHOUT going into every scene and adjusting that tom (trigger4). I realize i can simply create different kits but I am trying to tell trigger4 (Originally the snare rim) to be a "high" tom sound on every scene. Does anyone know HOW I can
