Places all drummers should visit

Bought my first drum set there (1977 Pearl fiberglass shells)! Made a T-shirt & picture in my drum room from this photo in an article about 10 years ago.

It was a great place to stop when on tour.

Trinidad- if you want to experience rhythm, it's there. The groove of the steel pan bands are incredible.
I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a week there a few years ago.

If you are ever in the Fargo ND / Moorhead MN area, Drummer's Journey is worth a visit. Their website (a work in progress) does not do the store justice. They are owned/operated by experienced drummers who know their stuff. Lots of drumsets, snares on the floor -variety and great quality. Periodically they host clinicians like Kenny Aronhoff, etc.

Since I was traveling, I was sad to only pick up one small item...

Unfortunately, temporarily closed. I'm not sure how much they're open when it's not PASIC time.
