When I sold the Gretsch last week, my eye saw this little one at Drumshop Peter doest.
The sizes are 10x8, 12x8, 14x14, and 18x14.
7-ply for the rack toms, 10-ply for the floor tom and bass drum.
The hoops are 3mm Power Hoops, and the mounts are directly on the shell, as they made them that...
Wanted 13/14 starfire chrome heads for the timbales.
Got this one for free when I bought the MC bop kit:
Never saw a pinstripe version before.
Might hang it on the wall, or put it on a 6,5 metal snare.
Is there a brand that makes something like that?
I need to switch a lot between felt (gong, cymbal swells, blocks), and timbale, and switching between two different sets is often not possible.
I only see thicker/shorter timpani mallets when searching for them.
These are my current timbale...
After using my old trusty Bobblbee laptop hardshell case, and Vic Firth Deluxe Stickbag for so long, and a getting new to me MacBook Pro, it was time for something fresh.
I already used their Stadium and Club bags and cart in the past with much success, I bought a slightly used Quivr Tour and...
Have to come back on that one of everything mindset.
Got the Leim in today!
Got a notification from an Italian website when I woke up last week, and bought it without hesitation, as they are that good (the price was less than 500 bucks which was made it a no brainer even more).
I...
What came in today.

I love it.
So how do you do shows with songs that have empty spots in them and you are the only one that hears the click (as the other band members don't use in-ear monitors)?
Do you use a ride/hh/stick/waving hand to cue the time?
Do you use something else?
So I have already found out these were made in 1993 only, and fellow member and former Z employee on the other forum metioned:
Does anyone have more info, the 1993 catalog, maybe other sizes or models of these black logo oriental series?
So I got this 18” stunner yesterday at the Dutch Vintage Drum meeting (together with some nice other things, only sold a pedal u fortunately) from my buddy who owned the best drum store in Amsterdam.
Its a Chris Kamin (A German smith, who does a marvelous job at re-working cymbals) and it...
For those who want to see the difference between the regular and extended nitro. I just got in my extended base.
The difference between sitting high, and sky-high (chris dave style).
And the 8” brilliant baby IAK splash tucked in between them.
As my studio is now empty waiting for new drums, I wanted to touch the cymbals at least again after a long period of not playing them.

Fell in love with the system after finding a single pedal locally for a steal three weeks ago.
A week after that I found a set of the double pedal and hh stand too.
The doubles will he converted to lefty.
Impossible with the 9000 and MDD, but very possible with the PDP BOA because of how...
A preview. More when she arrives.
I was a bit hesitant to get a Craviotto again (my last experience wasn’t that great) but as this one was made by the man himself as a custom order for the previous owner (and a bit because of its price too), it was worth the gamble.
