those are Pearl Championship drums, with a red/black oyster wrap from Precision Drum, and put on at Columbus Pro Percussion. The whole drum line had that wrap. Our uniforms were base black, with red and gold accents - school colors). Probably my most favorite drum wrap that is not sparkle...

I remember going to a place called Mt. Charleston outside of Vegas. My mom and dad used to like the trip. You'd drive up and people had winter coats on. Being from Milwaukee, never felt the need for a winter coat but was always surprised by the change in temperature going up there.

I went up there a few times years ago. Now I sit in my backyard and hiss at the neighborhood cats.
