Looping a certain section of a song on Spotify or a video on YouTube

I want to practice certain sections of a few different songs and not have to loop the entire song or use the slider to go back.
Can anyone recommend how I can make this happen?

Do you have a DAW? You could download it, drop it in your DAW and hightlight the section you want, then loop it that way. You could even tempo it down at that point if needed.

Here's what I do.

First, if I don't already own an MP3 of the song, I will make one from a YouTube Video. I use a website called Cobalt for this, but I think there a lot of options out there to make this happen. I also use a computer for this part, but I imagine it can be done on a phone or tablet.

Next I upload the file to Moises. If you don't know about Moises, it is awesome. It can do so many things, I won't list them all here. But it will allow you to select just a section of the song and loop that part. You can slow it down without changing the pitch and you can raise and lower the volume of individual instruments. Moises can work on a computer, which is where I do uploading and track separation, but there is also an phone app which will have access to the tracks and that is what I use to practice.

You can use Moises on a limited number of tracks for free, but the price for unlimited use is very reasonable.

I hope this help.

Good info. Yes...get the audio from youtube with Cobalt (have not tried) or Ytmp3.
Then import the file into itunes.
In itunes....go to song info, Options and change the start stop points.
Then set itunes to repeat.
