It is a YouTube sound check. At the end of the day, the best sound check is to get your hands on a snare, sit behind it, and play it. My post was a response to the point that roncadillac brought up about black coating for steel snares. Now, back to the wonderful world of 10" snares. Adios.

That is ok. Not taking this personal at all. Sometime it is hard to get the point across in writing. People may interpret what is written different way. Agree, disagree, add new information. That is the point of discussions in forums.
