What's the story behind the bass drum spurs?
Ludwig Atlas spurs; they replace those lugs, so no drilling required. Because I didn't get one of the spurs with the kit, and they really aren't up to the task even if I did have both of them. I have this drum on a riser, too. What's the story behind the bass drum spurs?
Whenever I see satin flame wraps Pat Mastelotto comes to mind. Elvin of course but somewhere along the line Pat left a mark. Not that Dr.Jones didn't it's just that Pat surprised me.
I've admired this kit on the Sweetwater site. I wish that they offered 22x14 bass drums as an option for all the renown kits. Also, I love one up two down! Yes, this appears to be one of the best deals out there. Thanks! They sound great, they’re not quite the tonal complexity like a USA custom…or my dream set a sonor phonic lol…but they’re damn nice sounding. The sizes are 22x14, 10x7, 12x8, 14x14, 16x16. Tuning wise, I like to run a “call to post” interval on the toms…D-B-G-D. Roughly 146-123-97-76 fundamentals on a tune bot. Kick drum E 41hz. Batter heads either ambassador coated or ludwig silver dots….resos are clear ambassadors
I’ve never seen stop sign badges in black before and not brass. Was this a special edition kit?I used my red sparkle USA Customs Friday night: 24/13/16 with a 6.5" USA snare in '60s Marine Pearl.

No, nothing special, just an option since around 2010-11. Here's a 2011 catalog:I’ve never seen stop sign badges in black before and not brass. Was this a special edition kit?
