Nice upgrades! I'm always torn about the DW MAG throw off. On one hand it's the most smooth, solid, and reliable throw off I've ever used but on the other hand it's bulky, ugly, and heavy.

That wrap kinda pays homage to the Japanese concept of repairing broken things with gold

At work we were gifted a broken plate repaired by gold, its reallly cool, from a new japanese customer.
Yeah that is a really nifty wrap. Shame you can't get it anymore.

I have a super crazy question:
How do the drums sound?
What do you like about them? What do you not like about them?
Do they have any quirks? (like uneven sustain between drums, or difficulty in tuning, etc)

I can’t reallY answer that , I’ve never had a kit with Ambassadors all around tuned into Bop territory.
I haven’t even tried anything else yet . I was careful to make equal turns of each rod and they sounded good . Honestly im having a bit of a time likeing this high tuning , I’m working on bop drumming really hard though , it’s always intrigued me .
I’ll make a video soon how bout that ?

They look a lot like the shells on my 5 ply Slingerlands from 1981. They sound great with any tuning!!
