The annual Clarissa Street Reunion, a celebration of Rochester’s Black history, would have been happening now, but has been canceled until next year. In its place, we take a look at an unusual aspect of that history: The story of Gap and Chuck Mangione.

I'd heard the one about the neighborhood protecting their parents store before but the bathtub one was new to me.

The song (and album) Feels so Good has been played seemingly millions of times - I never got sick of it.
Chuck Mangione, George Benson, and Deodato were my favorite listens in high school (ya, I was weird kid).
R.I.P. Chuck + thanks for the music !

I probably heard that everyday of my life from when it came out to the early 80’s. Either being played in the house or my father’s car . And you’re right , never got sick if it as well .
