13X6 is nice size. I always thought Ludwig should make a Supra in this size, but sounds like the Supralite has it covered.
I still think the Supralite sounds as good as any of them in that vid.

Hey, have you ever heard the Ludwig Backbeat snare? I couldn’t find but one demo and the player was playing like an orchestral drummer and I couldn’t get a fix on it. Steel with 6.5 depth and a buck fiddy but GC has them on sale for a buck no fiddy. Very plain shell but has bow ties, which I like better than tube lugs.I really try to take my Ludwig fanboy tendencies out of it but I'm always surprised by just how good the Supralite sounds. I've owned one and I can say that they're really easy to dial in to sounding that good too, there's no magic or luck involved. Now that they have the P-88 throw off they're a stupid great drum for a stupid great price.
If I wasn’t moving I’d have already pulled the trigger. Maybe. Might be a little too much like mine.from the classic car world (all my life) I'm going to show you a steal- I shouldn't but

let me tell what you can imitate -authentically with that..
never mind
Rolling Stones to Motown to Elvin
for starters all 60s points in between
almost all and it's only 6 lugs; it's the die casts baby it's the die casts..
If I had a spare nickle or even a dime I would collect that
My snare can do that sound.no.. nah..
it's this snare
Honestly, these new Supralites don't come with any cheap hardware. The brass tube lugs are standard issue. It comes with 2.3mm hoops, brass snare wires, and the throwoff and butt plate are pro-level.
I think there's a good chance that Ludwig will raise the price on the Supralites soon. I'm surprised they didn't do it already.
