recording audio video

I am interested in doing audio video recoding of my acoustic drums. This is to view and hear practice and learning performing cover songs. I’m looking at a used Yamaha EAD-10. But Also considering options. Ideally budget is less than $500.

I've recently been told about the Zoom Q3HD video recorder and have heard that it's very good for sound quality, including recording drums. Could anyone who owns a Zoom Q3HD please tell me what it's like and if it's worth buying? Thanks
