I'm digging the red..its all personal. I don't even like the DW stained outer natural inner. When I got my Gretsch Renown turquoise sparkle I was so relieved the hoops were all sparkle.View attachment 147648
I guess it’s nice to have options. I put the stock hoops back on. I’m going to go over to a Home Depot and see if they can mix me a paint to match the shells. It’s obviously a red-orange, and you can barely see the grain underneath. But if they can match it, then I’ll paint the blonde hoops to match

Me too. Crossing fingers a place like Home Depot can match what I bring in. They’ve done really good color matching when my wife talks to them so I’m hoping this shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
Home depot or Sherman Williams? that specializes in matching paint..stains etc.
They both do it. Fortunately for me they’re right next to each other in my city
