Who Is Your favorite Composer?

Who is your favorite composer? Mine is Kerry Livgren who was once in Kansas. He wrote my favorite song: The Kansas song called "Song for America." I also like his solo stuff. So who is yours? Peace and goodwill.

LOVE Kansas...they were one of the first bands I played along to as a kid back in the 70's!

As far as composers go...(these are the ones who influence me the most)

Dvorak for symphonic for sure, and then the rest of the Russian 5

Lee, Lifeson and Peart for rock stuff (Rush)

Aresti, Matheos, Dibiase, Alder, Zonder for metal (Fates Warning)

Brubeck for jazz

McIntosh, Hannum, Rennick(s), for drum corps

but this is tough because of how much stuff I love...every one else is a close second
