For any of you that are on the road a lot and have pets at home how do you keep your pet and give them a good quality of life while you are gone all the time. This especially goes for those of you that are single and don’t have someone at home to watch after your pet while you’re gone.
Practically, I think the way this really can play out is if you’re not in a full-time touring band and you have pets, and then you get into that type of situation. I imagine a lot of people are not getting pets that are already touring full-time. But if you have a pet that you love deeply and then you get a full-time touring gig you definitely don’t want to have to part with your furry friend. But if you’re a touring musician you also don’t want to put your pet in a boarding kennel constantly, because that’s not a good quality of life for them and also that’s incredibly expensive.
