Design your own stick?

I get my sticks made by the London Drumstick Company. There's so many custom options that you effectively end up with unique sticks. The bottom pair are a copy of VF AJ5's but with the 'bulge' grip and a slightly different tip. The top pair a 7a with tear drop tips and the wave grip. Both are in honey hickory which is slightly denser than normal. You have buy in batches of 12 to get the custom options but worth it.

Like @Level42, I had some custom sticks made - maybe by the same company. Almost like the Peter Erskine Ride stick but with a larger acorn tip and made of maple. They played well, but the tips wore down faster than I'd expected and cross sticking dented them badly. Maybe they were made of soft maple rather than hard maple.

In any case, the company is nowhere to be found and I've pretty much settled on the VF AJ5 and Pete Erskine Ride sticks.
