Changing volume from one gig to another.

I don’t think I’d like IEM’s on gigs where you have to watch volume. I’d ask for some sort of monitor, at the very least a Hotspot.

I didn't read all the responses so maybe this was covered but I can't see where a "really quiet band" would need IEM's and I know I personally play much louder when I have headphones or the like on/in. Maybe try not using them. If you are playing bigger venues where you need more then just the stage volume to work with I could see a small wedge monitor working fine.
