What happened to Bo?IKWYM. I first heard it from @Bo Eder who mentioned that he was unable to mix Aquarian heads with Remos or Evans for this very reason. Bo said it was just enough difference to be a distraction for him, the rims sitting a bit higher with Aquarians. Personally, I've not checked the difference, but Bo was always pretty accurate with his drum stuff.

Think he got put on the naughty step.....have been wondering the same thing...
I had to track down that video. That’s a good one! When I was trying to find any reviews/videos/ANYthing online about them, I found a bunch of videos that were of VERY poor recording quality. But, I found this one, and it pretty much nails the sound of these drums:What a beautiful kit. There is a video of Jerry Granelli playing a kit that looks like that which I watch frequently both for the playing and for the kit. God bless. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from it.
That’s a great video of a great sounding kit. I have an unrelated question though. It seems it was recorded with only 2 overhead mic’s? Yet I’m not hearing much of a room sound and the snare somehow sounds close mic ed. Has it not been eq ed Too? The whole video just sounds very treated where I am not sure that’s the natural drum soundI had to track down that video. That’s a good one! I can see two overhead mics and a kick mic. I have no idea how the rest of the Rufus Drum Shop that we can’t see in the video is laid out or sound treated, but it looks like there are plenty of things around to diffuse the sound. Maybe there’s foam on the ceiling above where they film their videos…??? When I record in my house, I sometimes use a stereo pair of overheads in roughly the same spots (above the kit). I get close to a similar sound, although my sound is less lively, due to the carpet. That’s a great video of a great sounding kit. I have an unrelated question though.
