I have a DW 5000 hi-hat stand (the two leg model), and I lost the top portion of the memory lock at a gig a while back. I found the schematics for the stand on DW's website. According to the document, the component I'm missing is an SP2019 (1" memory lock).
I ordered that model from Drum Factory Direct and....it doesn't fit.
Can anyone confirm the correct size for the memory lock? Apparently a 3/4" model exists, but the pictures differ on DFD and Amazon's listings (see below), so I don't want to waste more money on a non-compatible model. I called and sent an email to DW's customer support, but I haven't heard back, and was hoping someone here would be able to provide some information in the meantime.
