I'm a guitar player who just loves drums ( the sounds, looks, players)
Yes 1966 Round Badge 6 ply New York (floor tom from 1968)Is this a vintage Gretsch kit? Thanks
I like this E-kit conversion. Simple, but I bet its very effective. I notice you fly the ride off a dog bone. Do you retain that with a regular cymbal, when you play the kit acoustically, or do you change out to a regular stand for that?
good little compact kitI’m making a concerted effort to bring a four piece out more often in 2025. I don’t need the mounted tom for my simpleton playing, but I like the way it looks having it there. From yesterday’s great gig. I probably hit the mounted tom five times total in a two hour gig.

Is your cymbal set up Carlock(ish) done consciously?. It just hit me.
And knowing how musical and well orchestrated your playing is, I’m quite certain those 5 hits were impactful and served the music perfectly.I’m making a concerted effort to bring a four piece out more often in 2025.
