Updated Regal Tip Thread October 2022-Latest News?

Update as of 07/27/2025:

The only items currently in stock are:
Gripped Thai Sticks
Gripped Fatty Thai Sticks
3/8" Timbale Sticks
500-PLB Throw Brushes
Aluminum Retracable Brushes
Yellowjacket Throw Brushes

Everything else is still listed as "Coming Soon" (aka "Coming Never").

However, I know there are several Drum Shops, like Columbus Percussion, DCP etc. that have a decent stock of the Classic 583 Retractable Brushes.

Why keep up the charade whomever owns the Regal Tip name? We all know there ain't nuthin happenin'.
 
3+ years. Sad to day its gone too long to even be salvageable.
Was also hoping Johnny Rabb would restart making sticks, even in limited numbers, but that hope seems to have disappeared too?
 
Jeez, what the hell. They were manufacturing for a little while, then... ffffft. Never any kind of announcement on their state of affairs.

I had the impression it was an inter-family squabble? I'm assuming they're legally encumbered somehow, and that's what's stopped them from communicating with their customers in any way shape or form.

They should just sell the damn brand to Vic Firth or Pro-Mark or somebody.

Done Lav, ordered from Columbus yesterday..
That'll be my fourth or ninth cant recall pair over a "career"
But wanted a new pair for my final 20
