    @atlantadrumguy if you need one go buy a Tama Starclassic Maple Purple Kit, these drummers who were recording drums in the Studios, The Bell Brass Snare Drum is the standard tuning, you can tune in the right direction seem to be D tuning.

    Pain on top of thumb

    Don't worry it will heal once your thumb is safely, recuperating, I did have issues with my hands. It got bleed badly, I brought bandages to stop bleeding in order for one of my fingers to heal faster. I'm been playing drums since day and I never had issues with.
