FP9 or Demon XR

I’m looking at getting a direct drive double pedal, and after much research these are the two I’m trying to decide between. I know one is a long board and the other a split. Also, I know that the Yamaha is independently adjustable with the footboard and beater angle, and the demon is not. I like my footboard to be as low as possible, so when I use a pedal that is independently adjustable like the Yamaha I will set the footboard very low while still giving the beater a nice angle backwards to get a good hit. I wonder if the demon foot board would be too high if I pull the beater back a good distance? I used to play Axis A longboards, so if the ratio of footboard height is the same on the demon as it is on the Axis it would be perfect. But it looks higher. Am I right on this or is that just perspective?

So for those of you who either have or played both pedals, which do you prefer and why?
