Cymbals?

I play at home , I don’t giggle anymore , so cutting through the music with cymbals isn’t my priority any more. However , I am a cymbal snob , I really love cymbals . I’m looking for low tones, smooth with a buttery feel. I have a Xist 20 dark dry crash , it does work for me - Looking for a ride and another crash to blend and to please my difficult ear ??

lightweight; hand or random hammered; lathed or dry unlathed
20" 19" 18" 22"; - - 24" might be Dream Whip
buttery pretty much an illusion; use maple stick..
I have 18 old Ks going on 30 years and not a one I'd consider "buttery".. and 9 more Bosphorus nor them either
Maple sticks; a nice 5B (Promuco or VF Heritage) will make everything from drums down to your socks, buttery

I just picked up a used 20" K custom dark ride specifically because it has a mellower or quieter sound, and because it was within the K series. But I wanted a quieter sound because the synthetic sticks I use are very loud and bright. So with wood tipped sticks it is pretty pretty low volume and pleasant sounding.

I play Heartbeat cymbals, and they are exactly what you are describing.

Something dark, thin, and Turkish should be right up your alley. There are a lot of brands out there make the same cymbal.
