Storage Boxes for Sticks and more...

Nice one @Tamboreter ! I use stick bags for my sticks but like the idea for snare wires! For drum keys, felts, tension rods, snare weights, snare cord/straps, kick pads, clutches etc I use similar storage containers where you can take out the inserts to fit stuff in! :D (y)
I use a tool box that I put all the small items for gigging in, including two small stick bags (identical setup), mics, cow bell, shoes, spare felts, snare wires etc. As a bonus the tool box is used as a small table beside the floor tom...has flat ends. I put shakers, a towel and the packs for my wired IEM and Wired Headset on the tool box so I don't have to wear them. Way more convenient.

Im with Pork Pie.... save $$$ by repurposing products for other things.... this is my extra drum shelf... $69 at Home Depot IMG_3124.jpg

This is my extra stick section. a Free Stick bag that came with my Zildjian cymbals, and a $5 stick bag from ebay.

My On kit stick bag... don't remember what it cost. maybe $15?

and my favorite find...... this little table with a pouch on amazon. marketed as a sofa side table. $35. its small, light and comes apart for gigs.IMG_3122.jpg

Aside from my tool box with stick bags for gigging, I have a variety of Jars and a stick bag that I use for sticks in my office and basement studio.

.... and before anyone says anything, yes way to many sticks of varying sizes, woods, tips etc. Especially since I tend to use the following sticks when playing gigs: Headhunter Hickory Mini bops, Headhunter Hickory Bops, Maple 7As nylon tip, Vic Firth AJ5s and AJ2s (until they are gone, I now use the Headhunters instead) and Headhunter As (hickory or maple). I also use brushes, rods and mallets.

Yes. 4 snares. Hmmmmm I see what u are getting at. Gonna move those kick heads before they get dented
You could just lay them on top the snare bags, that would work. Funny, what kind of "advice" we can get when we have another set of eyes on our stuff, lol. ;)

Variety is the spice of life! I also have a boatload of different sticks, including some Headhunters. I have been somewhat disappointed with their quality, but I did really like the sticks with the black grips.

I use a second stick canister (Humes and Berg) to hold my extra sticks. I'm not as loaded as that may sound...I scored a great deal on one years ago and couldn't pass it up.

For my home practice kit, I repurposed an old paintball canister zip-tied to my hi-hat stand. It holds about 3 pairs...

Any pics? I need a hardware case that wont cost 100's of dollars... What is harbor freight calling these cases?
I have two of these. I use of these to store my drum mics and metronome. I use another one for my small mixer, IEM's, my cables, and other random stuff.

I have a few of these. I use one to store my kick drum pedal.

If you need an actual hardware case, I'd suggest an SKB golf club case. I had the older version of this for many years. I bought it used for about $20. Check marketplace and CL from time to time. Also, go to yard sales that mention golf gear in the ads.

Thanks I just received this for a Christmas present. I just found out it is not long enough for a DW9000 hihat stand, and had to breakdown the dbl tt stand, but they have memory locks.. It does not have room for everything, but it does have a hard bottom and wheels.
