Code issue on Forums?

It happened to me two or three times yesterday and each time I thought, huh...I wonder if this is it? Or, if not, if one these days the site'll just be gone, and all those hundreds of thousands of posts, many of which (none of mine) contained truly valuable information, will just disappear forever.
I had the same thing happen yesterday and each time I was like, "Are we on the verge of non-existence?"

Fellow Drummerworld members:

I found that I too was getting this same "Oops" message over the last couple of days.

So, I decided to try an old computing tip that has helped me before in the past when thing like this glitch would arise on other websites. Basically, you need to delete the cookies for the Drummerworld website from your browser (I'm using Chrome). This has seemed to correct this specific issue, at least for me it has. Sometimes when websites introduce something new, or change the overall design of their site, clearing the cookies for that site often helps in clearing up any "new" glitches that might occur.

You'll have to sign in to your account again once you clear the site's cookies, but the "Oops" message has seem to go away by doing so.

I hope that this helps. :)

Ok cleared the cookies. Just one thing. The name of the site is case sensitive. When you are searching for the cookies type drummerworld. Let's hope this is the workaround for the page display crash.

Update: Well the site was still acting buggy for me today, even after clearing the cookies multiple times.

So, there goes that theory of mine. However, clearing out the cookies for a website every once in while isn't a bad thing.

Blk Diamond,
Thanks for providing a potential workaround. There are no comments or workarounds yet by the developers who are recoding the web site for serving ads.

After deleting the drummerworld.com cookies this afternoon, I logged again at 10:00 PM Pacific time and the page crash error showed up again. After about 10 minutes it went away and now I am seeing the forum again. It can not display the contents of the forum but it does show the served ad at the bottom of the displayed page.

Since the problem does not repeat all the time, it could be anything from an error in generating the display code, to accessing files needed to generate the forum content, to glitches in connections or reading the database, etc. etc.

It's still happening for me. Multiple attempts to enter this website today, only to be met with the "oops message". Finally, I got in, but it's completely random.

Time to start addressing this issue @austinz.
You are the spokesperson for the new ownership here on the Drummerworld.com forum.
This is more than just some random glitch a few members are experiencing. At this point, some sort of public acknowledgement of what is happening is warranted by those who are in charge.

Thank you for your time in looking into this matter,

Blk Diamond, Drummerworld member since 2009.

Add me to the list of folks that are repeatedly getting the "oops" error message. I don't think it's a cookie issue, I think it's a host server issue. Perhaps it's time to change hosts and/or update the board software.
+1 for me, too......

Just kidding.

But this is error I get every other time I come back

I have been getting that same exact error for almost a week now. It's random but very frequent. I did the usual clear cookies, data, history, I've checked for updates, blah blah blah. It's only this site. I'm using a 2023 Motorola Razr with Android 14 on chrome. 1 out of 3 times I pull up this site I get that error. Participating member since 2016, lurker since probably 2005ish, I remember getting that error message maybe once a year before this.

*Edit* seems like there are a lot of us so I guess add me to the list
